- ABSTRACT The paper presents a construction and some simulations with a methodology based on genetic algorithm techniques to New Product Development problem. The objective is to show a new decision support system to help firms to cope with challenges of globalisation: contracting life cycles, high quality product, minimum time to market and flexibility to change. The research carried out points out to the exceptional possibilities of using genetic algorithm techniques in new product development.
