- Pomatostegus actinoceras Mörch, 1863 Pomatostegus actinoceras Mörch, 1863: 400. Pomatostegus stellatus not (Abildgaard, 1789) sensu Mak 1982: 608. Remarks. Not a new record. Following Hartman (1959), until recently the only recognized species of was Pomatostegus stellatus, thought to occur circumtropical. Ten Hove and Kupriyanova (2009) distinguished 3 species with a more restricted distribution. Herein we correct Mak’s identification to that of the Indo-West Pacific taxon.
