- Parianella lanceolata (Trin.) F.M.Ferreira & R.P.Oliveira, comb. nov. Basionym: Pariana lanceolata Trinius (1834: 107). Type:— BRAZIL. Bahia: Riedel s.n. (holotype LE!, isotype K!). Distribution and habitat: — Parianella lanceolata is found only in Brazil, restricted to Bahia State, where it occurs in the shaded understory of the Atlantic Rain Forest, in both primary and disturbed habitats (Oliveira et al. 2004).
