Holotype male with labels: (1) handwritten on white label: “Xinyuan Nalati / entrance of marmot’s hole”; (2) handwritten on white label: “S 2 -34”; (3) handwritten on white label: “ Eremomyia hamata / sp.n.”; (4) handwritten on red label: “ Eremomyia / hamata / Chien et Fan / 1978”; (5) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red label: “ TYPE / Eutrichota / hamata / Qian et Fan ”. Preservation: pinned; left mid leg mounted on paper triangle; right wing a little damaged. Missing parts: right hind leg. Additional notes: Holotype collected at Xiyuan County of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, 1400 meters above sea level by Jinquan Qian on July 28 th 1974. Current name: Eutrichota hamata Qian & Fan, 1981.
