- This paper presents the mechanical design of the upper limb exoskeleton, focusing on the creation and execution of the orthosis developed to cooperate in the physical therapy treatment. Through the aid of repetition of movements, it will provide stimuli related to the nervous, neurological and muscular system, aiming at the recovery and regeneration processes of the functional and structural aspects of the neuro musculoskeletal system. In general, it will provide functional improvement of the moving parts of the body, respecting the maximum level of potential that the patient presents, providing movements in the shoulder joint (flexion, adduction, horizontal adduction and horizontal abduction) and elbow (flexion). In addition to adjusting the range of motion, the system will allow for anthropometric length adjustment.
