- The experience of victimization lived in the school environment through violent behaviors is today an international problem, a serious threat to the development of mental and psycho-emotional health of children, both from the perspective of the victim and from the perspective of the aggressor. The manifestation of these aggressive behaviors among students has a negative impact both in the short and long term (it can persist even in adulthood). We consider it appropriate to draw attention to a significant predictive factor for violent bullying behavior in school, in addition to family and group of friends, because it presents an increased risk of amplifying and maintaining both socio-emotional and behavioral problems. The school, which has an important role in the development of children, together with the family and society. It has the mission of monitoring and implementing strategies for prevention and control of student behavior, to maintain an optimal level of physical, psycho-emotional, and social well-being of children.
