- The ‘Tomàtiga de Ramellet’ (‘de Ramellet’ tomato) is a landrace from the Balearic Islands heterogenic in many characters, but selected over centuries following two criteria: tolerance to Mediterranean summer growth conditions with little irrigation; and extended shelf-life after harvest. Here we present the main results of diverse experiments where ‘de Ramellet’ was tested in different environments.
