- Asaccus griseonotus Dixon & Anderson, 1973 HOLOTYPE. FMNH 170824. TYPE LOCALITY. 38.5 mi [= 62 km] from Shahabad, Kermanshah, Kermanshah Prov., Iran. DISTRIBUTION. Iraq, Iran. DISTRIBUTION IN IRAN. Fig. 120. Western foothills of the Zagros Mountains in Kermanshah, Lorestan, Khuzestan, and Markazi Prov. HABITAT. The paratypes in Iraq were collected in a humid cool cave (Dixon & Anderson 1973). In Iran it is known to live in dense oak forests at 1000-1200 m elevation (Parsa et al. 2009). REMARKS. Closely related to A. elisae (Papenfuss et al. 2010). Phyllodactylus ingae Eiselt described from Lorestan Prov. is regarded as a younger synonym of A. griseonotus. REFERENCES.
