- Cyrtopodion kirmanense (Nikolsky, 1900) LECTOTYPE. ZIL 9330, designated by Szczerbak & Golubev (1986). TYPE LOCALITY. Kuh-e Taftan, Sargad, Sistan and Baluchistan Prov., Iran; restricted to Kuh-e Taftan by Szczerbak & Golubev (1986). DISTRIBUTION. Endemic to Iran. DISTRIBUTION IN IRAN. Fig. 40. Sistan and Baluchistan Prov. There are uncertain records from Kerman, Kerman Prov. (NHMW specimen) and Persepolis, Fars Prov., reported by Schmidt (1939) which lack any details concerning the specimens determination. HABITAT. “... sheer rocky cliffs in the mountains, river banks and dry channels; shady terraces, cracks, niches; occasionally, on loose fragments of rock boulders.
