- There are lots of examples of experimental and computational determination of the phase transitions of systems/substances \cite{electricFieldsAndBoilingPoints, ionicliquids}. As a physical simplification of the Hamiltonian of the system, this article discusses the thermodynamic behavior of an ionic compound with equivalent charges on the cations and anions in the presence of electric fields stronger than the polarization density of the system. The Gibbs partition function has been proven to be analytically semi-tractable and requires a sum of as many as terms as the number of particles in the system. Finally, the computability and complexity of the Gibbs free energy is discussed and explored, a constant-time 100\%-accurate Monte Carlo algorithm is designed to address the issue and the consequential behavior is analyzed.
