- Annotation. Millions of people suffer from joint diseases, causing pain and disability and greatly impacting the person's lifestyle. Osteoarthritis is the most common joint pathology, ranking second among women and fourth among men. According to the World Health Organization, 4% of the world's population suffers from osteoarthritis, of which 10% leads to disability. Clinical signs of the disease are observed in more than 10-20% of the population. Osteoarthritis is more common in older people.
