- Multi-spacecraft observations of single type III bursts can be used to derive their directivity and positions in the heliosphere. These observations are compared to the result of radio-wave propagation simulations taking into account the anisotropic scattering of radio-waves on plasma density fluctuations. Here we present the analysis of 5 events observed simultaneously by Solar Orbiter, Parker Solar Probe, STEREO and Wind, and show that the directivity of the radio emission in these events are consistent with anisotropic wave scattering in the inner heliosphere.
