- The article presents a synthesis of the 3rd edition of the National Program LecturaCentral-2020, which focuses on contributions of libraries within the National Library System and communities, on relevant factors directed to minimize functional illiteracy, on reading promotion and reading culture. The author highlights two thematic axes of this year LecturaCentral edition: "Library for harmonious community, order and mutual respect" and “Participatory Science or Citizens' Science as Winning strategies for the community". LecturaCentral National Program’s orientation for intensifying the activity of libraries as key actors in building united, participatory, sustainable communities is specified.
