  • The ARDC 2021 Projects Exchange showcased the 41 ARDC co-investment projects that commenced in 2021. This session presents projects in the Platforms program, which aims to increase the number of researchers with access to platforms, both in terms of absolute number and in terms of diversity of disciplines. Platforms are “a set of online services, often with associated integration and/or orchestration functions and connections to specific data resources, that is intended to enable researchers to carry out some of their research activities”. Platforms are also called virtual research environments or virtual laboratories. This presentation includes: Global technologies and standards for sharing human genomics research data - Bernie Pope (Australian BioCommons) Australian Cancer Data Network: distributed learning from clinical data - Tim Churches (Ingham Institute / UNSW) Australian Electrophysiology Data Analytics PlaTform (AEDAPT) - Tom Johnstone (Swinburne) Scalable Governance, Control & Management of FAIR Sensitive Research Data - Anitha Kannan (Monash) Australian Text Analytics Platform - Michael Haugh (UQ) - Time-Layered Cultural Map of Australia 2.0 - Bill Pascoe (U Newcastle) Australian Digital Observatory: Infrastructure for Dynamic Digital Data - Marissa Takahashi (QUT) The video recording of this session can be viewed on ARDC's YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ld6B2OJ8V1w
