HOLOTYPE: AMNH 59876, adult male, collected at Manatee, Belize (5 British Honduras), on 26 December (not February) 1889, by D.C. Ingraham. COMMENTS: The AMNH number of the holotype was given in the original description, although AMNH was not mentioned. There are four paratypes: Mexico, Quintana Roo, AMNH 254755, Chunyaxche, adult male, 30 January; AMNH 254756, immature male, Palmul, 9 February; AMNH 254757, female, Vigia Chica, 27 January, all collected in 1926 by Griscom. ‘‘ Honduras,’’ AMNH 42001, male, from the Lawrence Collection.
