- 6. Ixodes alluaudi Neumann, 1913c. An Afrotropical species, all of whose parasitic stages are usually found on Soricomorpha: Soricidae, but all parasitic stages have also been collected from Rodentia: Muridae. Adults and larvae have been collected from Afrosoricida: Chrysochloridae; adults and undetermined immature stages have been recovered from Lagomorpha: Leporidae, and Rodentia: Bathyergidae; adults alone have been recorded from Rodentia: Spalacidae; undetermined immature stages have been found on Macroscelidea: Macroscelididae. There are no records of Ixodes alluaudi causing human parasitism.
