  • Over the years, cultural manifestations have gained different meanings and symbols in space. In Manaus, the Amazonas Folkloric Festival gained notoriety for its territoriality and its folklore groups over the 63 years of the event, especially in the political and social sphere. The objective of the work is to analyze the territory of dances and their social relations in a recent temporality, based on a methodology based on bibliographic review, documentation and focused on fieldwork carried out with specific dance groups. From this, the emergence of territories and identities of fans and supporters can see, following the urban, social and political transformations of the city, built over the years, directly influencing the folk disputes within the arena. In addition, the various existing social relations in the folklore world and culture in the city of Manaus, in addition to the symbols formed from the cultural manifestation, both in terms of the identity of the neighborhoods, and in the presence of the school environment in associations.
