- The subject of research is the theoretical and methodological principles of ensuring sustainable development of enterprises. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the possible options for the formation of sustainable development goals in the design of processes for the provision of spa services by enterprises. Research methods. The study used a set of scientific methods and approaches, including logical generalization, system, comparison method, graphical and tabular, which allowed to ensure the conceptual unity of the study. Results of work. The goals and a set of measures for overcoming barriers to the implementation of the strategy of sustainable development of sanatoriums are proposed. Field of application of results. In the field of economic sciences and in the practical activities of sanatoriums. Conclusions. It is proposed to form the concept of strengthening the socio–economic security of the sanatorium on the basis of sustainable development, which will allow further design of competitive business strategies, which will distinguish them from other VCCs, forming a set of activities that provide consumers of health services unique consumer value, excellent from the offer of competitors, and the company – long–term economic benefits.
