- This thesis discusses the process of extracting the longitudinal asymmetry, AW±L, describing W → μ production in forward kinematic regimes. This asymmetry is used to constrain our understanding of the polarized parton distribution functions characterizing ̄u and ̄d sea-quarks in the proton.
