- The measurements reported here is the first measurement of Drell-Yan production at a polarized hadron collider experiment in the world. We provide a detailed analysis of the Drell-Yan process in high energy polarized proton-proton collisions, a unique method for probing the proton spin structure. The longitudinal double spin asymmetry (ALL) measurement in the Drell-Yan process provides us with clean access to the anti-quark helicity distributions without involving quark fragmentation functions.
