Reared from woolly galls of Andricus quercusflocci (Walsh, 1864) [= A. flocci (Osten-Sacken, 1865)] on leaves of white oaks (Fitch 1859), probably the North American eastern white oak Quercus alba (Burks 1979). Remarks. The type material of Synergus quercuslana was examined and the species was redescribed and illustrated by Lobato-Vila et al. (2020b: 705).
