- Radio resource management (RRM) will remainone of the key challenges for 5G environment and beyond,as the number of users are increasing exponentially and theirdemands are becoming more diverse. The availability of resourceswill remain scarce and only more intelligent and adaptiveRRM scheme will be considered for handling the 5G systemrequirements (i.e., ultra low latency, extremely high data rateand tremendous volume of traffic, etc.). The architecture of5G will include previous generations and legacy systems whichrequire RRM techniques to be more adaptive and robust innature. In the presented work cooperative network is used forco-tier interference mitigation and efficient resource allocation.A coalition game is designed where interference and presenceof weak users initiate the game, whereas improvement in cellthroughput by forming optimal coalitions will be the results ofthe game. An extensive simulation environment is developed toplay the game and the results indicates significant improvement inthe users throughput and SINR by coalitions formation throughcooperation game.
