  • In recent decades, there have been processes of increasing the level of digitalization in all spheres of public life. This phenomenon is accompanied by the globalization of communication networks, the intensification of e-commerce, increasing the level of information literacy of the average consumer of any product. Despite the large number of online stores and numerous services for providing services via the Internet, it should be recognized that many businesses are not only inexperienced in the implementation of e-commerce technologies, but also do not have their own website. This is largely due to the subjective factor, namely the individual visions, capabilities and beliefs of managers and owners of business structures, their conservatism and reluctance to creative thinking and innovative solutions. The study is devoted to proving the existence of a correlation between the amount of profit of an entrepreneurial structure and the cost of implementing e-commerce technologies. A survey of the heads of numerous business structures who have not yet decided to implement e-commerce technologies indicate that one of the main arguments that they give in favor of the riskiness of investing in the development of e-commerce technologies is the scientific lack of evidence of the positive economic effects of the introduction of e-commerce technologies. commerce. The article considers the problem of identifying the dependence of the amount of profit of an entrepreneurial structure on the cost of introducing e-commerce. The study was carried out on the basis of empirical data of entrepreneurial structures that have experience in the implementation of e-commerce technologies. During the study, a second-order parabola was built, a system of normal equations was solved and the corresponding regression coefficients were determined. It is concluded that the costs of using e-commerce technologies give a positive result (profit) only after a certain threshold value. The growth of these costs from 14 to 20 thousand per year provides a rapid growth in annual profits by almost 10 times. The correlation coefficient shows that there is a close relationship between the amount of profit of an entrepreneurial structure and the amount of costs that it incurs for the introduction of e-commerce. The coefficient of determination () shows that 70% of the differences in the annual volume of profit are related to the volume of costs for the introduction of e-commerce technologies, and the remaining 30% – are related to other factors, the effect of which was not taken into account in this case.
