- The sub-grid particle formation (SGPF) scheme were developed based on the 'Predicting Particle Production in Power-Plant Plumes’ (P6) scheme. to better describe the SGPF processes over China, the localization of the scheme was carried out based on the observed high level of radicals caused by the polluted background in eastern China. it was coupled to the global-regional nested atmospheric chemistry model (IAP-AACM) with a aerosol microphysics module to describe the processes of SGPF in plumes.
