Daftar Isi:
- Cypripedium calceolus Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 2: 951. 1753. "Habitat in Europae, Asiae, Americae septentrionalibus." RCN: 6875. Lectotype (Baumann & al. in Mitteilungsbl. Arbeitskr. Heim. Orchid. Baden-Württemberg 21: 452. 1989): [icon] "Calceolus marianus" in Dodoëns, Stirp. Hist. Pempt., ed. 2: 180, left figure. 1616 (see p. 126). Generitype of Cypripedium Linnaeus (vide Salisbury, Parad. Lond. 2: t. 89. 1807). Current name: Cypripedium calceolus L. (Orchidaceae). Note: Baumann & al. designated the original publication of Dodoëns’ woodcut (in Fl. Coronar.: 77. 1568) as lectotype but this publication was not cited in Linnaeus’ protologue. However, as Linnaeus cited the same woodcut from Dodoëns’ later Stirp. Hist. Pempt., ed. 2 (1616), and Baumann & al.'s intention is clear, the later illustration has been accepted as the lectotype, while still attributing the choice to Baumann & al. (see Jarvis & al. in Regnum Veg. 127: 41. 1993).
