Africa, Gramineae 1: 94. 1970): Herb. Linn. No. 85.11 (LINN). Current name: Deschampsia flexuosa (L.) Trin. (Poaceae). Note: Although Kerguélen (in Lejeunia, n.s., 75: 129. 1975) stated "Type: ...LINN”, this is not accepted as a formal typification, for the reasons explained by Cafferty & al. (in Taxon 49: 240. 2000).
