Lectotype (Harley & Granda in Kew Bull. 55: 926. 2000; Morales in Jarvis & al. in Taxon 50: 519. 2001): Browne, Herb. Linn. No. 723.12, left specimen (LINN). Current name: Clinopodium vimineum (L.) Kuntze (Lamiaceae). Note: Epling (in J. Bot. 67: 7. 1929) noted the Browne specimen in LINN but did not treat it as the type. The type choice made by Harley & Granda (2000) was restricted to the left-hand specimen on the sheet by Morales (2001).
