- Polymnia canadensis Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 2: 926. 1753. "Habitat in Canada. Kalm." RCN: 6653. Lectotype (Reveal in Jarvis & al., Regnum Veg. 127: 78. 1993): Herb. Linn. No. 1033.1 (LINN). Generitype of Polymnia Linnaeus. Current name: Polymnia canadensis L. (Asteraceae).
