- Phlomis zeylanica Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 2: 586. 1753. "Habitat in India." RCN: 4276. Lectotype (Hedge in Jarvis & al. in Taxon 50: 516. 2001): Herb. Hermann 1: 1, No. 227 (BM-000621228). Current name: Leucas zeylanica (L.) R. Br. (Lamiaceae). Note: Cramer (in Revised Handb. Fl. Ceylon 3: 183. 1981) indicated as “type” a specimen (sheet 740.14) in LINN, but this is a post-1753 addition to the collection and is not considered original material for the name. Barker (Fl. Australia 50: 369. 1993) indicated various Hermann specimens as possible syntypes, and one of these was designated as lectotype by Hedge.
