Africa, Leguminosae 4: 655. 1971): [icon] "Phaseolus Zeylanicus siliquis radiat. digestis" in Dillenius, Hort. Eltham. 2: 315, t. 235, f. 304. 1732. Current name: Vigna radiata (L.) R. Wilczek var. radiata (Fabaceae: Faboideae). Note: Hara (in . J. Jap. Bot. 30: 138. 1955) indicated 899.8 (LINN) as the holotype, a specimen which lacks the Species Plantarum number (i.e. “10”) and was a post-1753 addition to the collection. It is not original material for the name.
