Daftar Isi:
- Breynia indica Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 1: 503. 1753. "Habitat in America calidiore." RCN: 3826. Replaced synonym of: Capparis breynia L. (1759), nom. illeg. Lectotype (Rankin & Greuter in Willdenowia 34: 262. 2004): [icon] "Breynia Elaeagni foliis" in Breyn, Prodr. Fasc. Rar. Pl.: 13, unnumbered plate. 1739. Generitype of Breynia Linnaeus, nom. rej. Current name: Capparis indica (L.) Fawc. & Rendle (Capparaceae). Note: Breynia Linnaeus (1753), nom. rej. vs. Breynia J.R. Forst, et G. Forst. (1775), nom. cons. Al-Shehbaz (in Howard, Fl. Lesser Antilles 4: 299. 1985) indicated Plumier’s t. 16 (Nov. Pl. Amer. 1703) as type (cited erroneously as from 1756). However, as Plumier included two species within his genus, his generic illustration cannot be assumed to apply only to "Breynia eleagni foliis", and is not original material for the name.
