No. 975.4 (LINN). Note: The application of this name is uncertain. Sherff (in Bot. Gaz. 59: 311. 1915; Publ. Field Mus. Nat. Hist., Bot. Ser. 16: 644. 1937), noting 975.4 (LINN) and determinations of two collections on the sheet by Schultz Bipontinus, excluded it from Bidens. Although Felicia and Glossocardia have been suggested as possible generic identities for these collections, original material may well exist in G.
