Daftar Isi:
- Rheum rhaponticum Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 1: 371. 1753. "Habitat in Thracia, Scythia." RCN: 2926. Lectotype (Libert & Englund in Willdenowia 19: 92. 1989): Herb. Linn. No. 520.1 (LINN). Generitype of Rheum Linnaeus (vide Hitchcock, Prop. Brit. Bot.: 151. 1929). Current name: Rheum rhaponticum L. (Polygonaceae). Note: Turrill (in Izv. Bulg. Bot. Druz. 7: 23-25. 1936) discussed the history of this name and provided detailed descriptions of the material on sheets 520.1 and 520.2 (LINN). He identified Bulgarian material as conspecific with that on 520.1, adding that R. rhapontium L. is the correct name for this taxon. However, his statement is insufficiently explicit to effect formal typification.
