Exot. Fasc.: 471, 472. 1712. Current name: Broussonetia papyrifera (L.) Vent. (Moraceae). Note: Browicz (in Rechinger, Fl. Iranica 153: 5. 1982) designated 1112.4 (LINN) as the type but this appears to be a Kleynhof collection, which would not have been acquired by Linnaeus until long after 1753. It cannot therefore be original material for the name.
