Daftar Isi:
- Melochia tomentosa Linnaeus, Systema Naturae, ed. 10, 2: 1140. 1759. ["Habitat in America meridionali."] Sp. Pl., ed. 2, 2: 943 (1763). RCN: 4925. Type not designated. Original material: Herb. Linn. No. 855.3 (LINN); Herb. Linn. No. 855.2 (LINN); [icon] in Sloane, Voy. Jamaica 1: 220, t. 139, f. 1. 1707. Current name: Melochia tomentosa L. (Sterculiaceae). Note: Goldberg (in Contr. U. S. Natl. Herb. 34: 330. 1967) noted the two sheets at LINN but referred to neither as the type. Fryxell (in McVaugh, Fl. Novo-Galiciana 3: 136. 2001) indicated 855.2 (LINN) as lectotype, but this choice was published after 1 Jan 2001 and so the omission of the phrase "designated here" or an equivalent (Art. 7.11) means that it is not effective.
