Daftar Isi:
- Origanum maru Linnaeus, Species Plantarum, ed. 2, 2: 825. 1763. "Habitat in Creta." RCN: 4296. Lectotype (Harley in Watsonia 14: 86. 1982): Herb. Linn. No. 743.12 (LINN). Current name: Origanum syriacum L. (Lamiaceae). Note: As pointed out by Harley (in Watsonia 14: 86. 1982), Ietswaart (in Leiden Bot. Ser. 4: 88. 1980) designated 743.12 (LINN) as the type of both O. syriacum and O. maru L. In clarifying this situation, Harley stated that the sheet in question "is unquestionably the type of O. maru", thereby typifying the name himself.
