- Festuca bromoides Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 1: 75. 1753. "Habitat in Anglia, Gallia." RCN: 621. Lectotype (Stace & Jarvis in Bot. J. Linn. Soc. 91: 436. 1985): Herb. A. van Royen No. 912.356-219 (L). Current name: Vulpia bromoides (L.) Gray (Poaceae). Note: Henrard (in Blumea 2: 302. 1937) discussed this name, and Hedberg (in Symb. Bot. Upsal. 15(1): 38. 1957) noted the existence of 92.14 (LINN) but without treating it as the type.
