Pl.: 209, t. 75, f. 1. 1739 - Typotype: Herb. Burman (G). Current name: Drosera capensis L. (Droseraceae). Note: Obermeyer (in Codd & al., Fl. Southern Africa 13: 199. 1970) incorrectly indicated 398.4 (LINN) as type, but this collection lacks the relevant Species Plantarum number (i.e. “4”) and was a post-1753 addition to the herbarium, and is not original material for the name.
