Daftar Isi:
- Dioscorea oppositifolia Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 2: 1033. 1753. "Habitat in India." RCN: 7460. Type not designated. Original material: [icon] in Petiver, Gazophyl. Nat.: 50, t. 31, f. 6. 1704. Current name: Dioscorea oppositifolia L. (Dioscoreaceae). Note: Jayasuriya (in Dassanayake & al., Revised Handb. Fl. Ceylon 9: 67. 1995) incorrectly indicated a König collection (1184.7 LINN) received by Linnaeus long after 1753, as the lectotype. He also excluded (p. 65) from synonymy the only original element (a Petiver plate) for the name.
