IUCN status: Least Concern Recorded at: Pahang: Krau Wildlife Reserve [11, 32]; Selangor: Ulu Gombak [52]; Kedah: Ulu Muda Forest Reserve [57]. P. stenopterus has been recorded foraging in open areas and over rivers in forest and rubber plantations, and found roosting in tree hollows and under house roofs with Scotophilus kuhlii [11, 14].
