Francis, collector; BM(NH) 1999.294) [2]. Common English name: Krau Woolly Bat Barcode Index Number: BOLD: AAI 8031 (1 DNA barcode from Peninsular Malaysia; Fig 6) IUCN status: Data Deficient. This species is vulnerable to the rapid loss of lowland rainforest [14]. Recorded at: Pahang: Krau Wildlife Reserve [2, 14]; Terengganu: Sekayu Recreational Forest [172]. K. krauensis has been recorded in primary lowland dipterocarp forest [2] and its roosting ecology remains unknown though it has not been recorded in caves [14].
