- GeoSnap is a new HgCdTe detector currently showing QE ~50% across 3-13?m. The device takes advantage of a ROIC currently operated at 85Hz full-frame readout across a 2048x1024 array, with larger sizes easily possible. This talk presents characterization of the first engineering-grade test device from Teledyne Imaging Systems, over the last year conducted at the Universities of Arizona and Michigan. I also describe science applications and planned deployment over the next year.
