- We obtained data on tree density and height from UAV-derived canopy height model (CHM) for permanent sampling plot in mixed forest. Coniferous trees were successfully detected, results for birch were needed additional treatment. Accuracy of individual tree detection was 73.9%. Tree heights retrieved from the UAV were well-matched to ground based methods.
