- In the last quarter of the 20th century, Mosterín has made relevant contributions to the philosophy of science written in Spanish. But such a contribution, valuable in itself, must be evaluated fundamentally through the way in which it has crystallized. Mosterín has vigorously cultivated logic and mathematics, epistemology, in addition to the philosophy of physics and the philosophy of biology, and has made notable forays into the philosophy of culture and a set of issues connected by the so-called problem of rationality.
