- In the context of the decentralization process of the public administration, the article explores in a comparative dimension the provisions of the draft National Strategy on the decentralization of the public administration and good practices in the decentralization process. The comparative analysis is performed through 3 stages of the decentralization process mentioned in the literature and announcements: the process of devolution, delegation and deconcentration. These are further analysed in the light of essential elements in the process of reforming the reform of public administration in the Republic of Moldova, such as: preventing and combating corruption, implementing the Association Agreement, streamlining the costs and productivity of public administration.
