- This paper proposes Solar Photovoltaic (SPV) exhibit fed Luo converter as a middle of the DC-DC converter and a Permanent Magnet Brushless DC (BLDC) motor to drive a centrifugal water siphon. P&O (Perturb and Observer) MPPT Algorithm is used to generate optimum value of duty cycle for the IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) switch of Luo converter such that SPV array is constrained to operate at is MPP. The Luo converter with reduced components and single semiconductor switch has inherent features of reducing the ripples in output voltage and safe starting of BLDC Motor. The electronically commutated BLDC motor is utilized with a Voltage Source Inverter (VSI) worked at principal frequency switching in this manner staying away from the high frequency switching misfortunes bringing about a high proficiency of the system. The proposed system is demonstrated using MATLAB/Simulink software and the results are obtained successfully.
