  • A raw video file taken March 15, 2002 during an auroral campaign in Churchill MB, Canada. The images were taken from an intensified, narrow field-of-view CCD-based TV camera known as the Portable Auroral Imager (PAI) . They span from approximately 6:40 to 8:40 UT. The imager was equipped with a 25 mm lens in addition to a Wratten 89B IR filter with a cutoff wavelength of 650 nm. The field-of-view is 30.9 by 23.2 degrees. The images face approximately south of zenith and between elevation angles 66.8 to 90 degrees. The video contains examples of an auroral phenomenon known as Diffuse Auroral Eraser Events.
