- Abstract: An efficient microwave supported solvent-free synthesis of 3,5-bis-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzylidene-N-phenylpiperidine-2,6-diones described with the subsequent condensation of N-phenyl glutarimides with 4-hydroxy-3methoxy-benzaldehyde in presence neutral alumina. The afforded compounds exhibited good and remarkable antifungal activities.
