This is a visualization project to explore how the 2008 crisis impacted on spending behavior of the top 10 largest economies in 2018. The spending analysis focused on three relevant expenditure areas: health, military and education. The analysis is presented by a well-designed website. If you are interested in the details, please download the Project-top-10.zip folder. After unzipping the folder, please open the index.html file using a web server, then you can view the web page. As you land on the web page, you will be welcomed by an introduction to the aim of the project. The top navigation menu will guide you through the presentation to the following sections: “Countries”, “Health”, “Military”, “Education” and “Data”. The latter section provides information about the data sources. The visualizations are developed on Google Map API; the html and CSS page are based on a Bootstrap template. The data collected for this project sits on a publicly available Google Sheets file.
