- A four port non-isolated high voltage gain converter, which is suitable for renewable energy system, is proposed in this paper. This converter interfaces energy storage device, PV panel, wind energy and load. It consists of an interleaved boost converter, voltage multiplier circuit and coupled inductors. The proposed converter not only decreases the current stress but also reduces the input current ripple. This will decreases the conduction losses and increases the lifetime of the input source. In addition to this lossless clamp circuit recycles the leakage energy to the output terminal. Hence, large voltage variations across the main switches are avoided thus the efficiency of the proposed converter is improved. In this way the low voltage stress across the switching device (MOSFET) reduces the conduction losses and cost.
